Just like Sailor Saturn, not much at all is known about Saturnus. In fact, he remains one of the very few mysterious figures in Roman mythology. However, it is known that Saturn represents the winter days of death. It is said that winter ceases the earth's age while spring revives it, hence Saturn's primary attack "Death Reborn Revolution".

Hotaru is definitely one of the most mysterious of all the Sailor Senshi (Inner and Outer). Born as a baby, she grows up unnaturally fast. Hotaru acquires the power to heal herself and her friends (or what friends she does have). But she has an extremely weak and fragile body due to this power. Therefore, I classify her as the weakest of all the Sailor Senshi. Unusually, she appears as both Sailor Saturn and Hotaru at the same time. Sailor Saturn is Hotaru's guardian.

At first, Hotaru is the Dark Messiah in the S series. She has been possessed by Mistress 9. Sailor Uranus and Neptune found out that she was the Dark Messiah and wanted to kill her at all costs. But Sailor Moon stopped them and told them not to kill her. Later, Sailor Saturn takes over Hotaru, and thanked Sailor Moon for setting her soul free. She is the proclaimed leader of the Outer Senshi.

Now how can someone who grosses people out by healing herself and grows up so quickly have time for a love life? Simply. For Hotaru, it's strictly impossible. With all the anger she possessed as the Dark Messiah, just imagine what she would do if a guy mistreated her? Hmmmm.....
